    How We Operate

    What this sector actually requires

Cleaning a facility in this category carries obligations a generic janitorial scope doesn't cover. These are the ones we build into the program.

    01

    Staff clearance

Technicians assigned to campuses are background screened, and we support Arizona fingerprint-clearance card requirements where a district mandates them.

    02

    Product safety

Low-VOC, EPA-registered products selected for occupied classroom environments and stored per district chemical policy.

    03

    Illness-season response

Escalated high-touch disinfection of desks, door hardware and shared equipment during outbreak periods.

    04

    Calendar alignment

Deep cleaning, floor refinishing and carpet extraction are scheduled into breaks and summer rather than instructional time.

    Our Method

How we clean schools & education

A campus cleaning program is really two programs running on one contract: a high-frequency hygiene routine during term, and a restoration program compressed into breaks. Contractors that treat it as one continuous schedule either disrupt instruction or never get the floors done. We build and staff the two separately.

    1. Split the year into term and break

Term work is classroom hygiene, restrooms, cafeteria and high-touch disinfection on a daily cycle. Floor stripping and refinishing, carpet extraction, gym floor work and classroom deep cleans are scheduled into winter, spring and summer breaks. Instructional time is not a cleaning window.

    2. Clear staff for the environment

Technicians assigned to campuses are background screened and E-Verified, and where a district requires Arizona fingerprint clearance cards we assign only carded staff and maintain that roster on file. Crews are kept consistent so the same vetted adults are on site rather than a rotating pool.

    3. Products chosen for occupied classrooms

Low-VOC, EPA-registered products are selected for occupied environments and stored and labelled per district chemical-hygiene policy, with SDS on site. The full product list goes to your facilities director for their file rather than being something you have to request.

    4. High-touch disinfection where transmission actually happens

Desks, door hardware, handrails, shared devices, cafeteria tables and restroom touchpoints carry elevated frequency with contact time held to the label. During outbreak periods we escalate frequency and can add day coverage for the duration rather than after the fact.

    5. Restrooms and cafeteria on their own cycles

Restrooms are workloaded by fixture count with dedicated color-separated equipment. Food service areas use green-coded textiles kept entirely separate from restroom and general equipment, which is a basic control and one that is very often absent.

    6. Break work planned in the spring, not in June

Summer floor programs are scoped and scheduled months ahead, because a district that books stripping in June finds every contractor already committed. Planning it into the annual calendar is how the work actually gets finished before staff return.

    Built to published industry standards

Labor is workloaded on ISSA production rates, the quality system follows the CIMS management framework, green practice follows Green Seal GS-42, and chemical handling follows OSHA Hazard Communication with EPA-registered products held to label contact time.

    Scope of Work

    What a standard program includes

Every scope is written per facility after a walkthrough. This is the baseline we start from for schools & education, then adjust to your square footage, frequency and hours.

    • Classroom cleaning and high-touch disinfection
    • Restroom sanitation and restocking
    • Cafeteria and food service area cleaning
    • Gymnasium and hard-floor maintenance
    • Administrative office janitorial
